What is Halotherapy?
Halotherapy, also known as “Dry Salt Therapy” is a non-invasive treatment that involves breathing in dry, microscopic pharmaceutical grade salt particles that remove toxicity from the respiratory system, improves the function and appearance of the skin, and boosts the immune system.
An introduction.
Halotherapy detoxifies and cleanses the lungs by increasing lung capacity and oxygen intake. Dry salt acts like a sponge, breathing it in results in attracting foreign substances and removing buildup in the respiratory system.
Halotherapy works by having what is called a Halo-Generator. The Halo-Generator grinds the pharmaceutical grade Himalayan salt into breathable particles. The generator pumps out the breathable salt, and all you have to do is sit back, relax, and breathe it in.
Dry salt therapy can improve your skin’s hydration, roughness, and redness. Regular and consistent therapy helps aid and treat those who have Eczema, Dermatitis, dry & flaky skin, acne, rashes, Rosacea and aging skin. Thus boosting the natural glow of the skin, and removing dullness.
What to expect.
As mentioned, the Halo-Generator grinds the salt, which then produces a very mild grinding sound. Clients who wish to have the most out of their experience should bring headphones, a book, or even a laptop. During this treatment, the room is yours, you control how you want to relax.
Of course you can be on your phone, but please be respectful and aware of your volume. Clients have a full hour to themselves and may read, catch up on work, preform yoga, browse social media or even take a nap! There is a chair, a rug, and a small table for your belongings. Our salt room is extremely versatile, and can fit anyones need.
